Platte Park
We fit a lot of awesome features into this Platte Park backyard! No inch was spared in the design. The whole space is very functional and there is something for everyone! Summer evenings can be spent grilling up steaks or Kabobs for the family and Fall nights will be enjoyed around the firepit making s’mores.

About this Project
Shortly after we were completed with the project, we went back to check on everything and we could tell the new space was being enjoyed by the family! There was chalk art everywhere, the kids’ bikes were out on the patio, and there was an empty bottle of wine by the fire pit from the night before. This is what we love to see! These new landscapes being used by the whole family.
The design incorporated just about every outdoor living element you can imagine minus a pool or a water feature. The big paver patio will be multi-purpose, being used as a dining room, bike course, and art studio 🙂 The outdoor grill station was custom built to fit this space and the color and countertop match the house very well. The large cedar pergola covers a big portion of the patio so it can be used year round and at all hours of the day.
Outdoor lighting was installed to showcase some of the plantings in the landscape as well as provide safety & security to the backyard in a busy Denver neighborhood. The fire pit is run off natural gas so it has a fixed location but the seating arrangement can be changed to accommodate any type of party – whether it be a birthday party for the young ones or a late night for the adults enjoying their favorite summertime beverage!
